P.S 11 low down

Although I am not a native, as a former Highbridge resident of many years, I believe I possess a combination outsider/insider perspective that is most useful in comparing past and present conditions. I have had children in Elementary school in Highbridge and have been active in the pursuit of academic excellence to the extent a parent is privileged to participate.
I respect the people of Highbridge. I respect and admire the schools and the teachers, but I can state that the pictures presented to parents by administrators and some teachers is often faulted, often outright deceptions. P.S 11 has a expired reputation as a the best school in Highbridge and to continue to restate the former pseudo glory of P.S. 11 that minimizes the accomplishments of P.S. 126 Principal Nadine Foster, P.S. 73 Principal and and their dedicated staffs.
The fact is that under Elizabeth Hachar and her highly priced handholding and mentoring by personal friend and retired Deputy Superintendent Ray Rosemberg, she has managed to take P.S. 11 from a grade of "B" to a "D" in 2007, to a "C" in 2008. I spoke to Dolores Esposito about this and she said P.S. 11 had considerable progress. Someone just has to take the time to explain to me how a "D" and a "C" from a start of "B"represent progress. What she has done is drive experienced teachers and career staff out of a school in desparate need of exactly the people who have left.
I will not elaborate in this posting how she has injured children, violated Federal, State and City Laws, Chancellor's Regulations, laws of human kindness, laws of dignity and decency or how she still survives as principal. She belongs in another occupation, she belongs as befits her crimes. She deserves to be treated as she has treated the community, the parents, children, teachers and staff of highbridge. She is not the new brand of principal, she is a tyrant, an abuser, an oppressor and she needs to go where she deserves. She will be warmly greated there.
